When does the Diploma of Journalism course start?
Jschool's 2008 course begins on Friday, 22nd February with an orientation morning. Classes start on Monday 25th February. Classes are initially held Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm.
The course is divided into two semesters. First semester (which includes a week's break from April 7 to 11) finishes on 13th June, followed by a two-week vacation.
In 2008 second semester begins on 30th June and classes finish on 24th October. (There will be a mid-semester break and internship from August 18 until September 13.) In addition to internships during the course, students may also undertake an internship at the completion of second semester. Dates in 2009 are expected to be similar.
When do I apply?
Applications for entry in 2008 are now being accepted.
You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible if you wish to enrol in the 2008 class. (International students should apply as early as possible, to give time for student visas processing.)
