When does the Diploma of Journalism course start?
Jschool's 2010 course began on Friday, 26th February with an orientation morning. Classes started the following week, and in first semester are held Tuesday to Friday during the day. (Some activities may also be scheduled on other days.)
The course is divided into two semesters, each of which takes four months, including holidays. Extra time is provided at the end of each semester for completion of assessments.
Classes in first semester began on 2nd March and finish on 11th June, followed by a two-week vacation. (There is a week's mid-semester break at Easter from April 5 to 11.)
Second semester begins on 29th June and classes finish on 22nd October. (There will be a two-week mid-semester break plus an internship during September.) Final dates for 2011 have not been set, but are expected to be similar to the 2010 dates.
When do I apply?
Applications for entry in 2011 may be made at any time during 2010. We will contact you to arrange the next stage of the application process.
