When does the Diploma of Journalism course start?

Jschool's Diploma of Journalism course begins on the last Friday of February with an orientation morning. Classes start the following Monday, and will be held from Monday to Thursday each week.

The course ends in late October. Extra time is provided at the end of the course for completion of assessments.

Vacations are scheduled for Easter, mid-year (June) and September. A two-week internship in a newsroom is also scheduled for September.

When do I apply?

Applications for entry are now being accepted and should be submitted as soon as possible if you wish to be considered for the forthcoming course.
