Fees and refunds of fees:Tuition fees for the first semester must be paid in full on 1st February. (If a student wishes to pay in advance for the full year, a 5 percent discount is given.) Fees will be refunded in full within two weeks if for any reason Jschool cancels the course or postpones the course or does not complete delivery of the course (unless Jschool arranges an alternative course to the satisfaction of the student). Fees for the second semester must be paid in full one week before the beginning of second semester's classes. If a student cancels enrolment, cancellations must be in writing. Fees will be refunded in full if the student's application for a visa is unsuccessful. If the applicant cancels enrolment for any other reason before the first day of the course, fees paid in advance will be refunded in full, less any bank charges or currency exchange charges. Fees will not be refunded if the student cancels or withdraws on or after the first day of the course, or does not start the course on the first day (unless permission has been given in writing by Jschool for absence on the first day). (In exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or misfortune, fees may be refunded at the discretion of Jschool on a pro rata basis.) Refunds for cancellation before the beginning of the course will be made within four weeks of receiving a letter of cancellation from the applicant. The refund will be paid to the person who enters into the contract with Jschool about the student, unless the person gives a written direction to Jschool to pay the refund to someone else. Refunds will be made to the applicant in the same currency in which the fees were paid. This agreement does not remove the right for the student to take further action under Australia's consumer protection laws. Jschool's dispute resolution processes do not circumscribe students' rights to pursue other legal remedies.
